RAGT14 Recap!

Lori Foster's Reader and Author Get Together is one of our favorite conferences! It's fun and casual, and always a good time!

RAGT14 went from Thursday to Sunday, complete with a a pizza party, DJ and dancing, raffle baskets, reader/author activities, and two book signings. Since my first NY published book, HER PERFECT MATE, released in May, I was able to take part in the traditional published author book signing this time, and it was ah-mazing! My readers rock!

Quite a few fangirls (Janet, Cindy, Barb, Ashley (who joined at RAGT!), Jennifer, Kris and Tracey)  from my street were there in force, and hanging out with them was definitely one of the highlights of the conference.

One of our favorite things to do at RAGT is to go to lunch/dinner with one of my favorite people, author Monette Michaels. We met her at our first RAGT, and since then, going to PF Changs with her has become tradition!

This RAGT, we also sponsored a board room, along with rockin' authors Maddy Barone, Ty Langston, Tatum Throne, and (Virna DePaul, Tigris Eden). It was so much fun, especially the historical fashion show!  Our very own Maddy is an exceptional seamstress as well as a fantastic author, and she brought costumes that she made for us to model! I got to wear an Indian sari and hubby dressed up as a maharaja.
