Amazing. I didn't know know I was missing all that by not watching soap operas. I haven't watched one since 1971: All My Children. The only other one I was interested in was Dark Shadows. I watched it when they did a re-run and thought it was kinda lame.
It's interesting how many stors got their start on soap opersa. Great blog.
The scary part is this: I'm old enough to remember most of these people when they were *on* these shows (even though I didn't watch them).

Sarah - I used to watch Days of Our Lives when I was a teen, then later One Life to Live and General Hospital, but I don't watch any now. Glad you enjoyed the blog!

I knew a few of these stars had started out in soaps, but not all. I haven't watched any since college, when Days was a campus-wide event (even a lot fo the profs followed it, LOL).
